Help
If you need to talk to someone
If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number — 911 in the US, 999 in the UK, 112 across the EU, 000 in Australia.
Soleo is an app on your phone. It is not a crisis service, nobody is reading what you write in it, and it cannot call anyone for you. The people below can help, and talking to them is not an overreaction.

Looking for treatment
Binge eating disorder is treatable, and the treatments with the best evidence behind them — CBT-E and guided self-help among them — involve working with a person. A GP or primary care doctor is a normal place to start; you do not need a diagnosis before you go, and describing the pattern is enough.
- NICE guideline NG69 — Eating disorders: recognition and treatment sets out what good care looks like, and is readable by anyone.
- The National Alliance for Eating Disorders treatment finder covers the US.
- Chapter 18 of the Soleo course is about professional treatment specifically — what the options are and what happens in them.
Soleo is educational self-help. It is not a substitute for professional medical care, and it does not diagnose or treat any condition. If you are struggling, please speak to a qualified professional.
